sachavonkarl74 All songs are amazing thrash bangers! It's modern thrash though, more technical, with dry but well-marked, present, and really distinctive drums sound, it makes it special to me. The guitar work is reminiscent of some technical DM bands, giving Exile that edge over old-school thrash classics. The vocal is almost HC style, no high-pitch nor scratchy throat stuff. Favorite track: Primal Instinct.

Maximum Jack This probably will be my favorite full-length of 2022. For me, the best metal gives me the sensation of being propelled forward, and the drums on "Exile" are thunderous, clear and high in the mix. The vocals are yelled but not creature-screeched, and there are no falsettos, which I appreciate greatly. There are some atmospheric touches that keep this from being a Reign in Blood-style pure pummel-fest, notably on the first and sixth tracks. Huge step forward from a solid debut. Favorite track: Verbatim.

Einherjar This is an exceptional Thrash album. Old school spirit with a modern (but not overproduced) sound.

Killer riffs, raging vocals, blazing solos and a rythm section that hit you right in the chest like a 12.7 mm caliber cartidge \m/

I just found these guys and after celebrating Fearsick I immediately came here and had to buy this as well. It might eben be better than Fearsick but who cares. Both are phenomenally good. Old schoolish perfection with powerful modern production. Every song is a fucking killer. mourner
